REMEMBERING OUR LOVED ONES

Gambling with Lives was set up by the families and friends of young people who had taken their own lives as a direct result of gambling. These were all bright, popular and happy young folk who had great futures ahead of them … gambling was their only problem.

Sadly we know that we will be adding more pictures to this gallery, but here are pictures of some of our loved ones who have died. We'll be adding their stories later, but you can see something of their bright and lively characters in all the pictures - they all shared a real energy and outgoingness.  Research has identified "cheerfulness" as a characteristic of those who develop serious gambling problems. What a world where that is a fault or weakness which can be exploited by an industry!
